Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in electronic communication. XXS developed a creative campaign for print, TV and online to make sure no one will give away their personal information to these so- called 'fishers'.
In the campaign we see a fisherman hauling up envelops with his fishing rod. The envelops bear a resemblance to the emails which cyber criminals use to catch their victims. These emails contain malware aimed to trick people into handing over personal information. Virtually everyone we know has received emails of this kind.
XXS has designed an application which we have developed using Flash. However the Save Banking website requires 'barrier-free' standards. We chose to create and implement Javascript fallback for the Flash parts and static HTML and PHP fallbacks for the Javascript functions aswell. It was a nice challenge to create an application that would look and feel very similar within different environments maintaining focus on accessibility. However, this is exactly the type of challenge we like to take on!
