To help first-time buyers on the housing market, we have created an online application in which all the information that you need to buy your first home is gathered in one synoptic whole. We've created a map - designed as a map of a block of houses - which was categorized by six steps of information.
The core idea of the interaction design is to allow users to find their own way through the information. It is important that they feel relaxed rather than anxious. There should be no pressure. That's why the navigation elements in the application were designed in such a way that every target group can easily find their way through the website. The user can sweep, peek, scroll, zoom in, zoom out, skip or go back a step.
The app is still running and it measured a very high response. Of all users who visited the website, one third ended up making an appointment with Rabobank. It therefore comes as no surprise that in the television show My First Home the tool was promoted enthusiastically.
